Clicking "no" in the "Delete tag" results in constant “Deleting” jellyfish [Ticket In]

Roon Core Machine

Roon version 2.0 build 1303 64bit.
Firefox
Windows 10 Pro - i7 8GB
Some local files on this pc and on 1 pc in the network.
All is cable CAT6. No wifi.
No streaming service.

Description of Issue

In Roon I go to “My Tags” and I choose for the Tag “123” (example).
Then I click the button <…> and I choose “Delete tag”.
A question appears: “Delete 1 tag. Are you sure you want to delete the tag “123”? YES / NO”
If I choose YES, the tag is deleted at once. I have tested this. And of course this is the correct behavior.
If I choose NO, I expect that Roon does nothing. However a message appears that says “Deleting”. :scream: There is a moving Roon logo too.

This message stays on screen forever. It disappears when I click somewhere on screen or press escape. After that: Tag 123 is still there. So, it appears that nothing has been deleted after all. :slightly_smiling_face:

This looks like a bug to me. IMHO this message is an error and it also frightens people.

I see this behaviour, too, on B1303.

This seems to be a regression.

Thank you very much.
Your screenshots are 100% correct.

Regression: yes I was thinking about that. It seems like a “remainder” in the original software. It could be something in an old and obsolete “YES” path in the software. (sorry for my possible flaky English - it is not my first language).

Hi @RSound,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I was able to reproduce this on my end as well, and have submitted a ticket to our developers.

I will keep you in the loop on any updates along the way! :+1:

Thanks.

The Roon software was updated about 1 week ago.
The behaviour seems to be vanished.
So it seems Roon has already removed the bug in the recent update. :+1:
