Clicking noises with Streaming Content

Hi, I’ve started hearing clicking noises during playback with tidal and qobuz. I don’t hear this when I play flac from the hard drive. What could be the problem?

Most likely, throughput glitches caused by creaking network bandwidth. Clicks and pops are the outsiders of genuine signal breakups. It might be something else but that’d be my most likely suspect.

Ok thanks for the quick reply, strange this here, it started yesterday - never had that problem before.

Hi @Johansen_Pianoteknik,

Thank you for posting. Please fill out the information requested by our moderators in the post above so we can gain a complete understanding of your setup and audio chain.

Additionally, a few details might pin down the cause of the pops and clicks you’re hearing:

  1. You mentioned this is only specific to TIDAL and Qobuz content, not local files. Does it occur with files of different quality? Try playing back files with different sample rates.

  2. Does this affect all Zones? Does it happen with all Remotes as well?

  3. Are you using any DSP?

We’ll be standing by to assist further once we’ve seen your response. Thank you!
