I have this product and can confirm that it works with Roon.
I have it connected to my network by LAN, it sees my NAS and is recognised as an endpoint in Roon.
So far, after a day of use I am happy. In have yet to compare with Chromecast Audio which is what I hoped it would provide an upgrade over.

I am wondering if I should go with it, or choose the node 2i or Teac NT-505
Even considered the Meridian 218
@Michael_Kolletzki, how do you value the TEAC with further listening?
I realize these units are not on the same price range.
The main concern is sound quality and roon stability

I haven’t compared the N15D with anything other than my CD player, so I don’t think I am really the best person to ask. All I would say is that I am more than happy with it together with Roon. It serves the purpose I bought it for, allowing me to play my music (CDs burned to FLAC files) stored on a NAS at a sound quality that is as good as that which I was getting from my CD player.
I should add on re reading the thread, that I have had no issues with Roon losing control of the device, nor any other issues to speak of.
