Describe the issue

I am trying to install ROCK on a NUC and I have a codec question

Describe your network setup

wired network, ax3000 router, multiple network switches. Core i7 64gb ram; the new NUC 13 Pro is i7...the one you mentioned on your recommendation page. The only wireless access is through my phones with Roon remote. All other devices are wired.
I installed the Roon Core on the NUC...trying to add codecs now via my PC on the network. I went to \\ROCK\Data\Codecs Not sure which ffmpeg file to use off of the John Van Sickle site you link to. The example file says AMD64...my NUC is a Core i7. I copied the AMD file, but think it is not the right one. I copied the following folder into Codecs - ffmpeg.gt-20240629-amd64-static . Is this correct? Should I have found a file within that folder and installed it instead?

Downloading the amd file is fine but this part isn’t. Follow the instructions:

thank you for your response. I am not clear on what you mean. I think you mean to go into the ffmpeg folder I mentioned, look for the file labeled “ffmpeg” and copy that file into the “Codecs” folder. Is that correct? Is that the same file from your Dropbox link?

ok, I used the ffmpeg file and it restarted without the ? for missing codecs…now to continue with setup thanks again
