Andy…I ended up by passing the onkyo entirely and connected the Dragonfly to my Rega Brio amp…a definate step up to these old ears:)
I guess I’m a little surprised it was a such a big difference. I still have a nagging doubt that the problem was a configuration issue.
In any case, using a Raspberry Pi to feed the Dragonfly would be a very convenient way of consolidating without tying up phone or tablet.
