Here’s the plan: Connect my Synology NAS, my NUC running ROCK and the internet/TV cable directly to my wireless router. All of this is located in the office next to the room where my audio system and TV are located.
Run an ethernet cable from the router thru the wall and to an ethernet switch in the listening room. Then connect the streamer and my TV receiver to the switch.
Anything wrong with the above approach? e.g. would the signal be cleaner if I used a switch in the room with the router, rather than plugging the NAS and NUC directly into the router? Any interventions to isolate the music streamer from electrical noise in the ethernet signal?
