Description Of Issue
Hi,
I just downloaded Roon and having difficulty connecting with NAD 50.2 music player.

After installing Roon on the iPad I start Roon and and get a message “Installing Roon Core”.
It continues to look for the core but never finds one. Roon and the 50.2 are both on the same network. I have seen past discussions on solving this problem but I am unable to implement any of the suggestions.

Appreciate your input on how to get Roon to recognize the “Roon ready 50.2”.

Have you installed roon on a computer (not the iPad) to act as a roon server?

Hi @John_Guiney,

This device is Roon Ready, which means it can be played to by Roon, but you’ll need to have a Core machine in order to use Roon. You can read more about our architecture in the KB. If you have any questions about this please let us know!
