Connection issue with Qobuz on V2.64 Roon server on Mac-Mini (ref#PA2WRT)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· Still running V2.64 server and remote on a Mac-Mini that is too old to update. Don't seem to be getting a connection to Qobuz; therefore no New Releases; Playlists, search results etc.

I've also have Roon on a MacBook;iMac and phone. running v2.67 as remotes. I am presuming that this is acceptable.

Tell us about your home network

· Router is a provider issue; Provider is Plusnet. No switches or extenders or VPN; Server is installed on a MacMini within a couple of yards of the router. Can connect to Qobuz directly. Haven't had any problems previously.

Thanks for reaching out. Is there any change in behavior if you log out / back in to Qobuz via Roon Settings → Services? If not, you can try to perform a cache clear, as this may help:

  • Exit out of Roon/RoonServer (from the taskbar)
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

FYI: I did also have to reboot the computer before it would work.
