Record the timestamp
· I have been using Roon with a Nucleus as my Core for about three years with a completely stable setup. I have not changed any hardware, network devices, operating system on the Nucleus, firewall, or router configuration. Everything (local library, Qobuz integration, and ARC) used to work reliably.
Immediately after the latest Roon update, several problems started at the same time:
- Roon shows errors related to metadata and reports that its servers cannot find my library or cannot update metadata.
- Roon ARC stopped working, even though it used to work perfectly with the same router and port configuration.
- Qobuz integration is partially broken:
- inside the dedicated Qobuz section in Roon, the interface often does not load results or appears to be “disconnected” from Qobuz,
- in my main Roon library, I can still see and play my **older** Qobuz albums and tracks,
- however, **recently added** Qobuz albums (new favorites / new releases) do not open or do not play correctly in Roon, even though they play normally in the native Qobuz app.
This strongly suggests a problem with Roon’s cloud/backend services or the Qobuz integration, rather than a local configuration error on my side, since the same system worked unchanged for years and the issues started exactly after the latest update.
I have already done the following troubleshooting steps:
- Rebooted the Roon Server and fully power‑cycled the Nucleus (powered off for 30–60 seconds, then restarted).
- Rebooted the router.
- Cleared the image cache in Roon’s Settings.
- Ensured no changes in my network topology, no new firewall rules, no VPN.
- Logged in to Qobuz successfully; I can access my Qobuz account and see my favorites, but new albums do not work in Roon while old ones still play.
From Roon → Settings → ARC, I get the following diagnostic output:
```json
"ipv4_connectivity": {"status":"NetworkError","status_code":530,"error":"error code: 1016"},
"external_ip": {"actual_external_ip":"151.xxx.xxx.xxx","actual_external_ipv6":"null","router_external_ip":"151.xxx.xxx.xxx"},
"natpmp_autoconfig": {"status":"NotFound"},
"upnp_autoconfig": {"status":"NotFound"},
"multinat_autoconfig": {"status":"Success","error":"No Error","routers":1,"routers_mapped":1}
```
This indicates that my external IP and router mapping are correctly detected and that port mapping is successful, but the ARC connectivity test fails with a 5xx‑type network error (530 / 1016), which looks like a problem on the remote/backend side rather than a local network misconfiguration.
At the moment I am:
- Performing a fresh backup of my Roon database.
- Avoiding any destructive actions such as database reset or full reinstall of Roon on the Nucleus, because I do not want to damage or lose my library if the root cause is actually a server‑side issue.
I would kindly ask:
1. Can you confirm whether there are any known issues with Roon’s services (metadata, Qobuz integration, ARC connectivity) after the latest update that could explain:
- metadata not updating / “servers cannot find my library”,
- Qobuz section in Roon not loading correctly,
- older Qobuz content still playing while newly added Qobuz albums do not,
- ARC reporting NetworkError 530 / error code 1016 despite correct router mapping?
2. Before I attempt any database reset or restore from backup, could you please review my case and let me know whether you believe the problem is likely:
- a corrupted local database on the Nucleus, or
- an issue with Roon’s backend / cloud services / Qobuz catalog integration?
3. If you consider a local procedure necessary, please provide precise step‑by‑step instructions that minimise the risk to my existing library and preserve my edits and history.
I am happy to provide logs or any additional technical information you need from my Nucleus. Please let me know exactly what to collect and how.
Describe the issue
I have been using a Nucleus as my Roon Core for about three years with a completely stable setup and no changes to my hardware, network, router configuration, or Nucleus OS. All problems started immediately after the latest Roon update.
Since that update I see:
- errors saying Roon’s servers cannot find my library or update metadata
- ARC not working, with this diagnostic:
```json
"ipv4_connectivity": {"status":"NetworkError","status_code":530,"error":"error code: 1016"},
"multinat_autoconfig": {"status":"Success","routers":1,"routers_mapped":1}
```
- Qobuz behaviour:
- in the Qobuz section inside Roon, the interface often does not load or show results
- in my main Roon library I can still play my **older** Qobuz albums
- **recently added** Qobuz albums do not open or do not play in Roon, although they work normally in the Qobuz app
Troubleshooting already done:
- rebooted Nucleus and router
- cleared Roon image cache
- logged out and back into Qobuz in Roon
- no changes to my network, router, firewall, or ISP
I am currently backing up my database and I would like to **avoid any database reset** until you confirm it is really necessary. Could you please check whether this matches any known backend/cloud issue with metadata, Qobuz integration, or ARC after the latest update, and advise the next steps that are safest for my existing library?
Describe your network setup
please nothing is change in my harware my connection work i am using nucleus and arc for a long time the problem starting with the last update. My network work properly but the problem is (and is the same topic) In roon metadata improver dont work and ARC dont work I reset every NUcleos software i reistall NUcleos operating system and roon on devices
