Describe the issue
I (probably) have a problem with KEF LSX speakers that I run on the Roon server.
Actually, the Roon server and the devices and apps connected to it work without any problems:
I use the Roon remote apps on the iPhone and iPad and on my Windows notebook.
The Roon server is installed on the Audiodata music server. I use it to operate various streaming devices such as the Amethyst from Trinnov, Bluesound Speakers and, of course, the KEF LSX.
For a few weeks now, I have been experiencing the following phenomenon.
As soon as I want to play music from an app (iOS or Windows) via the KEF, it works for exactly one song. As soon as the song ends or shortly before, I get the message “Uh oh, something's wrong. The connection to the Roon server has been lost...” After that, every app is blocked, i.e. I can no longer access the Roon server and have to restart the server first. After that, everything works fine until I try to play something through the KEF again. Then the same thing happens. It works for one song, then the error message appears...
The KEFs are connected to each other by cable and are also connected to the music server / Roon server with LAN network cables. The latest firmware is installed on the KEF. The music server and Roon server also have the latest software release.
Do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. Martin
