Is it possible to setup Roon such that I can login from a different geographical location and start the system playing and control the music playing?
Yes using a vpn allows this but only to devices on the local network to the server. So you can be in UK, your Roon setup is at home in say France, using a vpn you can open Roon app and control music back home.
