Cooling fan for Ropieee?

I have been using Pi 4s on a number of Ropieee end points. These Pi 4"s can get real hot.The temp sensor that can be viewed in the config screens typically run in the 150 deg Fahrenheit/ 65.5 C range. I can cook an egg while I listen to the Stones sing Hot Stuff with my Ropieee! I got a case with a temp controlled fan. Anyone know how to get into the Ropieee software to enable fan control?

I use small cooling fan and small radiator for chipset. In my case is 47 C/116 F.

I used the HighPi Pro Case with Universal Port for Raspberry Pi 4. and the HighPi Pro 5V Cooling Fan. I was first confused since this fan has 3 wires, one is a speed rate so the pi can regulate it. Basic Pi config will set this up but there is no config for this in Ropieee software. In the end the fan runs fine at full speed without any config so all is good. It is a quiet fan which is great. So my concern is solved.

Basically there’s no need for a fan. The mentioned temperatures are way inside the safety boundaries.

That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to implement this. If someone sponsors the hardware then I’m willing to give it a go.

I think we’re fine. The speed control is not necessary. The fan runs full speed and that’s fine. It is silent too.
