Copying Music to Nucleus

Just got my Nucleus, downloaded dBpoweramp/cd ripper with CD ripper attached to Mac. Ripping cds are automatically going to “Music” on Mac. How do I store directly to Nucleus, or do I plug usb cd ripper into Nucleus, can I still use DB cd ripper app? Thanks

First question: do you have additional storage available for your Nucleus?

If so, then you have two options.

  1. Plug the USB CD drive into the Nucleus and use the CD Ripping function of Roon
  1. Continue using your CD ripper on the Mac, and then copy the ripped files to the Nucleus. See here for two methods for copying the files across:

I would not rip directly to your Nucleus. Rip to somewhere else and then copy to your Roon “watched” folder. You don’t want Roon to be your only copy of your music files.
