Description Of Issue
@support The connection with the Roon core gets lost again and again. This happens randomly but occurs several times per hour. The strange thing is that, when listening to online radio, there does not seem to be an issue.
Routers are not necessarily good switches, I would connect an 8 port switch to the router and plug your NAS and Bluesound into it, I use Cisco 8 port unmanaged switches.
I use an iphone, ipad and a Lenovo Android tablet. The problem happens for all remotes. I am not sure if this happens at the same time. I should test this. And yes, RoonServer is running on the Qnap at that time.
What kind of access point are you using, can you list the model/manufacturer? I would make sure that you have “multicast” enabled if your router/access point supports such setting, IGMP Proxying/Snooping has helped with similar issues in the past as well.
