Core on Synology not updating to 1.7

Synology DS918 , 16GB RAM

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

1Gbit LAN

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Kii Three connected through USB

Description Of Issue

Hi all ,

you might be able to give me a hint:

all client devices (iphone, ipad and PC) are on 1.7 (build 505) but when conneting to the core running on Synology (1.6 build 416) it says “update required”. But it is not loading it.
The screen shows a message “downloading” but no progress.

the log does only show this error :

can I enforce that update from command line by any trigger ?

found it , updated DNS to 8.8.8.8 on Synology settings now its downloading :slight_smile:

I was about to say check your dns settings for a public address
