Crestron Module Version 1.0 Build 10 flooding error log with notices

Hi, I’ve recently started using the Crestron Module Version 1.0 Build 10 which seems to work very well except it is causing writing to the notices to the error log on the processor several times a minute which makes the error log almost unusable.

Is there a way to stop this or obtain the source code so I can stop it myself?

Even running the supplied demo program on a CP4 has the same issue. It does not matter if the processor is on a network with a Roon Core or not, the issue starts as soon as the “SystemModuleReady” input is held high.

Hi,
not really a help, but this is nothing i can reproduce on two systems.
However, both are 3-series, so what you´re seeing might be 4-series related.

Many thanks for taking the time to look into this.

I thought that it may be a 4 series issue as well so I am now running the Roon modules on a 3 series processor but I still run into the same problem. I have found that the notices start appearing as soon as the Media Player Application is launched on any touchscreen and then will continue to do so for ~5 minutes after it is not visible on the touchscreen.

You can see the notices start and finish in my log below (I’ve had to cut out the middle bit as there was too much to post). This was with the Roon modules running on an AV3 processor. The touchscreens are all TSW-x70 and all firmware and databases are the latest.

I have approached Crestron about it but they think it is related to the Roon module although they were also unable to replicate the issue. I am not sure how they performed their test.

In the past 2 weeks it has produced around 44,000 notices.

Hi John,
just had a look again at the errorlog of one of the installs and now i can see the issue.
I think the important piece was that the media player needs to be open on a touchpanel (TSW1050 in this case).
As soon as it has been opened, the log entries appear.
For me, this looks like a debug message. Probably the module has been compiled with some sort of debugging switched on…
