I am using the Roon iOS app to control my Sonos speakers. If I mistakenly use the volume up or down buttons the volume coming from my speakers automatically adjusts to the same setting as on my iPhone.

This can lead to extremely loud volume that is a health risk and a risk for my equipment. This has been a problem for a long time- please fix ASAP.

This has happened on a few occasions via my iPad too over the past 12 months on various software versions.

Hi.
Have you tried using the volume limits for the Sonos speakers? It may work.

Appreciate the suggestion- definitely great to have as an extra safety measure. I still think this needs to be resolved- when the app is not open volume should not be adjusted by pressing volume up or down.

Do you have Lock Sceen Controls (beta) turned on? If so turn it off.
