I treated myself to a lifetime license two weeks ago and am running Roon on my iMac M1 with macOS Tahoe.
Having to configure the network share every time is really annoying.
I hope there will be a solution soon.
Currently, I wouldn’t recommend Roon to anyone using an Apple computer.
I’ve moved this thread to Feedback to be sure that Roon Labs read it. Thanks for raising it.
Are there other complaints of this sort that I can’ find? Doesn’t appear to be a widespread problem AFAICT. Perhaps investigating it with Support would be useful.

I think this may be a local issue or this forum would be on fire
Inverting that recommendation also works.
Currently, I would not recommend an Apple computer to anyone who uses third party non Apple software.
