Custom genres in iTunes library not displayed in roon [Answered]

I’ve just started trying out roon, and the first annoyance I see is that custom genres that I have in my iTunes library - Chamber Music, Early Music, etc. - don’t show up in roon. Roon displays its own genres - presumable found via acoustic fingerprinting - which make it very confusing for me to find my music. Will it be possible, in the future, to override the genres that roon wants to apply to my music?

there’s no fingerprinting in roon.

Yes, full editing will absolutely be part of a future release.

Yes, you can have Roon use Genres from your file tags.

I, apparently, forgot to check the box that says to import playlists too so that part of my problem. Thanks guys!
