DACMagic Plus connection to Denon AVR-X4700H

Description Of Issue

I replaced my Onkyo TX-NR626 with the Denon, and connected the analog output of the DAC to the phono inputs of the Denon. When playing anything through Roon, the audio is horribly distorted

Nevermind, problem fixed. I used the optical out of the DAC to the TV Audio in (optical, of course) on the Denon. The phono in on the Denon obvious is pre-amped.
