Can this "feature be turned off?
Talk about a stupid feature…
Why is it a stupid feature? Or have I misunderstood your comment?
I always get confused with peoples intentions when they are too subtle.
Well, there’s a user selectable toggle for “listen later”, perhaps there should be one for “daily picks”? I think that’s the suggestion.
Yet again Roon has excelled in selling services other than our own music collection. Daily Picks must have another “paid for” service. For me, I’m paying enough for Roon as I like my own music.
Oh well, I guess the rest of the update is OK but nothing “new” for me.
I like the feature, it reminds me of the old “Discover” section.
Then again, since there are toggles in the settings for pretty much everything else adding one more for this one would be logical I guess.
Its just the same old same old. I get one for daily picks - Pink Floyd suggesting I should play the Wall. ffs.
Why not - you like Pink Floyd, how about this modern prog rock band you may not have heard of?
Then the next person comes to say „only recommend artists I like“.
No, it can’t. Therefore, you should create a feature request in Feedback > Feature Suggestions, but with a little more justification, so others may decide to vote.
No doubt, hence why IO have said before, give us a toggle or choice, ‘i’m feeling adventurous’ ‘stay in lane’ etc.
I don’t really care, Tidal’s daily mix feature is outstanding, so it can be done. I listen to that and add stuff I like to the library, because trying to convince Roon I don’t like ELP because I like Pink Floyd is an exercise in futility.

Agreed and I suggested similar for Roon Radio in the past because one size won’t fit

I vote to make this panel optional in settings (as with the “Listen Later” panel). It’s not offering something I want in that location.
