Roon has been snapshotting databases on my MacBook Air M1 (16 GB RAM) for over 18 hours and is stuck there. Can't access any functions or play music.

Done twice. Second time uninstalled and reinstalled Roon. No luck.

Is this an incremental backup into an existing backup folder or a completely new one into a fresh folder? If it’s incremental, try if a completely new one works.

Neither of these tentative suggestions may be particularly helpful: have you tried what @Suedkiez suggests and then restarting the Roon server?

I was told that Airport is not recommended by Roon Labs.

Can you please try a full reboot of your Mac? How many tracks/albums do you usually have on your Roon database according to your Roon Home screen?
