Dedicated Roon Controller with real buttons and scroll wheel

I can make a strong case for a dedicated Roon controller that sits in my listening room. More tactile than a phone or tablet. Real buttons and a scroll wheel with great feel. Enhanced album art on a thoughtfully designed screen. More hi-fi, less computer! I don’t want the distractions i only want the music.

No! I want one. I think an enterprising company (Roon/Harmon) could make one. In the same way they make their own core. A niche market obviously, but Roon is a niche market.

Hey, thanks for your reply! Not sure I’d have the skills to pull off any of the stuff you reference. Lol. Anything I would use would be idiot proof. Love the idea though. The fact that other Roon users can imagine the need for a controller separate from phone and tablet is validating.

If I can get rooExtend and rooMAX working then most of the population could handle it. I am a moron. He has step by step videos on his YouTube channel and is very responsive on this forum so help is always at hand.
