Default MQA settings for Naim Uniti Nova

All wired (Ethernet)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Naim Uniti Nova wired over ethernet, newest firmware

Description Of Issue
Just got my new Naim Uniti Nova. It works flawlessly with roon, except one issuue: In the Naim‘s device setup, MQA capability is set to: Renderer Only, but to my knowledge, Naim does not support MQA at all. Shouldn’t it be set to: No MQA support by default, for Roon being able to do the 1st unfold (core decoding) of MQA files?

“Renderer Only” also works. Roon will decode MQA to MQA Core to a Renderer Only device.

Hi @Hubert,

As Peter suggested, either Renderer Only will still use the MQA Core decoder, but No MQA Support is probably the most accurate option for this device. You can read about our MQA settings here:
