When I’m browsing music (new releases, search results, etc) and an album is on both Qobuz and Tidal but only available in 16/44 (no hi-res or MQA versions), Roon seems to choose the Tidal version by default. Is there a way to set Qobuz as higher priority by default?

No there isn’t. It’s possible this is because the algorithm says, OK what got played next after this and Tidal has been in roon longer and may have more subscribers so the stats are weighted toward playing the Tidal version.
