I think certain multi CD sets were meant to have time delays between the discs. The delays were naturally introduced because you had to physically eject one disc before inserting and playing the next one. Even in a CD changer it took a few seconds to change discs. But with modern computer audio there is no gap between discs. Its especially jarring with certain albums (e.g., Stardust We Are by The Flower Kings).
It would be nice if Roon could allow a configurable delay in seconds between discs.
