Roon / Hi @fish,

To aid Roon’s support team when this case reaches the top of their queue, could you upload / post a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Can you provide details of what device you have installed Roon Server on and also Roon Application if on different device(s).

Many thanks.

Hi @fish,

We’ll need a little more information to take action on this report. Can you please share a screenshot of the message you’re seeing within Roon?

If you’re seeing a “Waiting for Roon Server” message, this simply means that there’s no direct connection available between your server and your remote on the network. If you’ve only installed Roon on one machine, you can usually resolve this by enabling Local network access for Roon (MacOS) or by safelisting Roon in the Microsoft Defender firewall (Windows).

What machine are you using to host Roon?

Our diagnostic servers show you have an active trial for your account, so you shouldn’t have any issues opening and signing into Roon with the same credentials you’ve used here on Roon Community.

We’ll watch for your reply. Thank you!

Hi @fish,

Just checking in on this. Were you able to grab a screenshot of the message in Roon, and let us know which machine is hosting Roon Server? We are not seeing any Roon Server as tied to your account. Please send over any updates when you can, note that you have to respond directly in the forum and replying via email will not work. Here is a direct link to your thread:

Thank you!
