Description of Issue

I would like to delete all the data stored under “My Library”.

I have cleaned up all stale data in library database under “Library” in Setting and discounted any folder that Roon will monitor for new music under “Storage” in Setting as well.

Both actions fail to clear all the data shown under “My Library”.

It would be grateful if you can teach me how to clear the info there.

Thank you and regards, Charles

What is your Roon Core running on - Windows/Linux/Macos or Roon OS?

And are you using a streaming service (Qobuz or Tidal) integrated into Roon?

Hi Charles,

Are you trying to delete all your music so you can recopy it to the storage location? Or, are you trying to delete the database and let Roon start from scratch in rebuilding the database and audio analysis?

Hi @Charles_Chan,

It might help illuminate the problem for the support team and moderators if we can gain a more precise understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish here.

  1. Are there certain tracks in your Library you’ve removed that are persisting?
    OR
  2. Do you want to entirely clear your Roon database of all music content, retaining custom DSP presets, and other information stored in Roon Backups?

It would also help to clarify the following:
3) Do you have only local content in your library, or are you referring to streaming content, as well?
4) As @Rugby mentioned, if you’re taking these steps as a precedent to migrate your Core, please refer to our Help Center article here.
