I deleted one of the albums in Listen Later using the Delete from Listen Later feature in Roon ARC, but it keeps getting added back automatically.
Describe your network setup
My home network consists of a wired line provided by my ISP (LG Uplus) connected to a wireless router (Linksys) for home networking, which is configured wirelessly.
Dear @DrTone ,
Thanks for the solution.
I was wondering how to temporarily disable storage in roon server and roon on my mac mini.
Do you mean to remove the folders specified in Settings >> Storage in roon?
Would you kindly double-check if you’re observing the same behavior directly in Roon?
Thank you for your help @DrTone, it is also cruciall to understand if the problem is related to ARC direcly or the root cause is coming from the already reported bug with the Roon.
Don’t remove the storage location. Just disable it as vadim showed.
Once you do that the listen later item will switch over to the ghost Qobuz or Tidal album you originally marked as Listen Later allowing you remove it. You will then be able to re-enable your storage location and it should permanently be gone.
If this doesn’t happen you have a different issue.
@vadim and @DrTone, Thank you for your help.
I tried the method you suggested, and it did uninstall Roon remote on my Mac.
However, it still hasn’t been removed from Roon ARC (ios). I have deleted and reinstalled Roon ARC, but same thing.
Can you please clarify what you did to troubleshoot here? It seems like the issue originally impacted Roon ARC. Was mentioning Roon remote in error and you meant to type ARC? Did you reinstall ARC and the issue persisted? Please clarify when possible, thanks!
Hello @noris ,
That was a rough description of my situation. (sorry)
I’ll try to explain it in more detail and in chronological order.
I’m having issues with both Roon Remote on my Mac and Roon ARC on my phone.
I followed your advice and Roon Remote has removed the record, but Roon ARC still won’t remove the record.
just in case, I deleted and reinstalled Roon ARC, but it’s still the same.
That’s the situation I was in until yesterday.
And below is a new situation.
I shut down Roon Server and restarted it.
I launched Roon Remote and the same album is still in the Listen Later list again, and so is the Roon ARC.
interestingly, when I look at the information for this album in Roon Remote, the Listen Later button is off, and when I check it in Roon ARC the Listen Later button is on.
If the workaround doesn’t resolve the issue, we’ll need to wait for a product fix in a future update. Please stay tuned for further updates from our team.
