Deleting Tidal cache on Sooloos system

Hi everyone,
I am aware that this is NOT a Sooloos forum, but in the spirit of honoring the ancesters…

I’m having an issue with my Meridian Sooloos system. I bought it used, and the previous owner had a TIDAL account linked to it. I’ve removed that TIDAL account, but the TIDAL albums and their thumbnails are still showing up in my library.

I’ve tried refreshing the library and checking the settings, but I can’t seem to find a way to clear them out completely.

Does anyone know a good method to fully remove these leftover TIDAL entries? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

you might need to clear the sooloos with the sooloos control/PC program to do this.
According the google:

To factory reset a Meridian Sooloos system, you’ll need to access the device’s settings, typically through a web interface or the Control:PC application. The specific steps vary depending on the Sooloos component (e.g., Media Core, Control:PC, etc.). Generally, you’ll navigate to system settings, find the reset option, and confirm the action.

General Steps:

  1. Access the System: Connect to the Sooloos system via a web browser using the device’s IP address or through the Control:PC application.
  2. Locate Settings: Navigate to the system settings or configuration section. This is often found under a “Settings & Information” or similar tab.
  3. Find the Reset Option: Look for a “Reset,” “Factory Reset,” or “Restore Defaults” option.
  4. Confirm the Reset: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the factory reset.
  5. Restart the System: After the reset is complete, the system may require a restart. Follow any on-screen instructions.

There’s no reset, only “bulk delete”. That would be very inconvenient since I’ve been ripping CDs into it for days . I went into the debug menu but that’s too complicated for me.

What model is the Sooloos system that you have?
The other thing to try (again from the Control:PC manual)?
In Meridians Control:PC app:

Deleting Albums

The Album Details page for each album offers the option of removing the album from the system.
(Note that there is no undo procedure for this function; once you confirm deletion, the only way to get an album back is to reimport it.) Click the Play tab to enter the music manager and use the browsing pane at the bottom of the screen to locate the album you want to delete (see “Music Selection and Playlist Creation,” page 5). Then click the [image] at the right of the album name and choose View Album Details in the pop-up window. This will bring up the Album Details Window.
Clicking the Delete Album button at the bottom right of the window brings up a dialog box
asking you to confirm that you want to remove the album from the system. Clicking “OK” at this
point deletes the album; the only way to recover it after that is to reimport it. Clicking “Cancel”
returns you to Album Details. Clicking the X in the upper right-hand corner closes the window.

Thank you, it’s the MC200. I have used the control PC, as well as the web browser.i will try your suggestion thanks!

I found the solution. I installed “touch PC” in an old HP computer which has touch control. That program allows to select all the Tidal albums and delete as a group. So far the best interface
