New DSP board installed on Denafrips Pontus. Board installation fine. Played streaming files fine via Roon.
I went in and downloaded the Theyscon driver this evening on the Windows based Laptop.
Installation complete, however no option to select audio output. I streamed Roon again all working
well then tried the SDD to play DSD files. Roon recognizes the DSD file however the DAC does not. It plays in a lower high res format. Not DSD

I have re booted the DAC and the Roon program. Same results.
Ok, figured out the DSD issue. AURALiC Aries was converting SAD to PCM. However Roon states the down conversion was producing the highest sound quality? The Indicator light was green.
The DAC now has the DSD 4x lights on and the 44x light on? Not Sure about that. And it will only play part of the song. Performance issue hardware or media moving slow. Audio file is loading slowly.
** Alas I still can not “enable” the USB Vinshine Denafrips USB DAC States connected to core.
@alvin1118 Alvin might be best to answer here but what core are you running that won’t see the Pontus if it’s connected directly via USB?? Windows driver is only going see the Pontus on USB direct not behind the Auralic
