This issue also occurred with my previous config on a very old ‘Roon supported Intel NUC’

Now continuing to play whack-a-mole until I feel satisfied with spending the very smallest amount of money that I can gift to Apple.

Hi @daniel , I’ll be very grateful for any help your team can offer with this?

I might get through 1 entire song without playback stopping, but that is the exception not the norm

My USB-wired Mojo is my regular headphone listening spot- and this issue has plagued me for as long as I can remember, I just never reported it. This doesn’t occur with other software & hardware configurations feeding the Mojo.

I’d really hoped that my H/W upgrade would eliminate the Roon Server end of this from the issue, but now I’ve upgraded and the problem persists.

Is the root cause evident in the Log extract?
Are there any server settings that could ‘help feed the DAC’?

Are you running with Mojo in Exclusive mode or Private? Maybe try turning that off and see what happens.

Hi @Jack_O_Donoghue,

After restoring a Backup, updating Roon/RoonServer, or updating MacOS, have you re-verified that Local Network permissions are toggled on for RoonServer in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network?

MacOS Sequoia (15.x) has more secure network permissions. This causes Zones to sometimes lose access to RAATServer via the loopback interface. We have a ticket open to investigate this behavior. In the meantime, try re-toggling Local network access anytime you restart RoonServer.

I just verified and this, and Local Network was already enabled for RoonServer and for Roon. Unfortunately this isn’t the cause of this issue, nor the related issue that you updated & linked here.

Hi @noris , happy to report that this is (for now) a ‘cannot reproduce’

I streamed an hour of 192/24 tracks from Qobuz, and locally, on the same configuration, and added headphone DSPs too. Just switched to one of the same tracks that was previously failing. No glitches or stoppages.
