OS X 10.12 and iOS versions of remote.
This is indeed an oversight, we’ll remove it some time in the near future.
In the mean time, enjoy having a button to crash Roon

What is Meridian Audio Streaming?
Any overhead in having it enabled or indeed issue with disabling it?
It’s streaming to Meridian endpoints using the Sooloos protocol.
No overhead at all. It’s a legacy dev option from when Roon was first being developed. Meridian streaming has always been enabled by default in production builds, but is only relevant if you have Meridian endpoints.
