Devialet 800 Expert Pro using Roon Volume

I am connecting to my Devialet 800 Expert Pro using My Devialet-Eth. Because I am disabled I use the volume control within Roon. Can someone tell me if Roon uses DSP to control the volume? If so, what impact does this have on the quality of the sound?

Hello @Jimmy_Giessler,

Wether you are using the Devialet Air or Roon Ready inputs on your Devialet Expert Pro 800, the volume control you see in Roon is controlling the volume on the Devialet Expert Pro system directly. Changing the volume using Roon is equivalent to using the remote that came with the device. I hope this answers your question!
