Device Limits will not work on My Schitt Mani and Modi, When I enable control? it defaults to Fixed volume and there are now Device Limits and stays at Min O Max O. Does anybody had this problem in the past

I have the Schiit Magni and Magnius. Schiit don’t allow direct volume control on their DACs. The only volume control is via DSP in Roon, I think this is the only way to do volume control on Schiit products.

Whoops! You’re absolutely correct, my apologies.
Roon can not control volumes on DACs unless its a digital volume that’s made available to them. You only tend to get this on a limited amount of DACs and normally would be Roon tested classified to have that feature to work. Dont think any Schiit DACs have this ability. So volume limits won’t work unless you use DSP Volume.
