Hey @Marcello_Rostagni,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report, it’s good to see you on the community again!

Can you explain this a bit more? What network gear are you disabling that allows your devices to re-appear?

Pending your response here, I’d also see if you can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

Thank you!

This workaround worked, again.
Do you have a timeframe for fixing this bug permanently?

Can I +1 this request for a permanent fix.
I’ve been encountering some variation of this for some time (since I had to do something to my network in Late Nov/Dec '24). Roon served from the Mac has never been the same again, I’ve had to reinstall and restore as well, but this seems to have kicked it back to life too.

Every Roon update I a) lose all audio devices, and b) sometimes lose any client connection to the Roon Server. Then spend ages trying to find the combination of kicks to make it work again.

I just experienced this same thing exactly - applied the latest software update and access to all of the networked Roon devices disappeared except for my LG TV which shows up as a device local to the Roon server (M1 Mac mini) even though the TV is in another room accessed via the network. I had this device visibility / access problem before and had to mess with things to get the devices to re-appear. This is not a networking issue as the only thing I changed was applying the Roon update to all devices. My Bluesound app sees both nodes just fine from the same server I am running Roon on. Please figure this out ASAP.

Rebooting the Mac mini server fixed the problem.

Me too. Getting really fed up with this. Every time there is an update it knocks out all my Roon endpoints. This never used to be the case. What’s going on here. Indon’t want to see another Roon update until this is fixed.
