DFF files playing normally in Roon. Is it supposed to?

To my knowledge, i know that roon doesn’t support DFF format. @support

However i have an album (dff) which i am listening to right now.
However another album that is DFF is already skipped by roon which i thought was the normal behavior for roon.

Is it possible that dff file is in fact a dsf file but its extension is renamed as dff. If so why would roon indicate the format of the playing file as DFF DSD64?

Roon supports DFF files (and has for a while), but not DST compression, which a small minority of DFF files use.
