Difference between MacBook and iPad as remote

I migrated my Roon Core from my MB to a Nucleus One facing a few issues.

One thing: Roon plays and streams (Tidal) perfectly with the Macbook as a remote control.

However, when I use my iPad as a remote control, I can also stream and play music, but when I try to open my playlists or Tidal lists, I can open and play the lists, but the individual covers are not displayed, only a gray box is displayed and I can’t select the song either.

Does anyone know the problem or, even better, does anyone have a solution?

Description of Issue -

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

I have moved my MacBook to a Nucleus One and have some issues.

I can play music from the collection and stream via Tidal and according to the settings ARC should work.

In the Fritz!Box the Poertfreigabe for the Nucleus is activated. However, ARC iPhone does not find the Core and ARC iPad says it is time for an update (which I cannot start via the Web Interface, getting error code 11)

Please don’t open multiple support requests for what is essentially the same issue (Roon Server no updating). I’ve merged them into one thread to keep things together. Thank you.

Thank you, I noticed after the first post that I have fill my hardware settings.
I tried to delete my first post after I send the second one, but could not find how to do that.

Hey @Henning_Scheel,

Are you still having issues? We’ve since fixed a slight hiccup with a recent update. If you’re still having issues with your iPad - could you please remove roon from the device and perform a fresh install, and let me know if you’re still having issues?

We’ll be on standby for your reply! :+1:

Thanks for letting me know, after the update everything is actually done and works fine. The problem with the iPad has also been solved by the server update.
