Difference between Roon and Roon essential

In the playstore i can download Roon app and Roon essential app.
Why thes two?. What is the difference.?

Roon essentials is a cut down version of roon that only works on ELAC hardware and is bundled with their server.

Here is a list I got from Elac support. Unfortunately, I had to find out most of these things on my own since there appears to be no comprehensive list of the differences between the full product and essentials. And Roon does not officially support Roon Essentials. Only ELAC supports Essentials, so any support for Essentials must go directly to ELAC.
