Roon initially searched my music library and correctly found the right album and album art for all but maybe 5% of my classical music.
If I go to a composer (by clicking on composer in My Library…I get hardly any results. For example, if I click Mozart, I get many albums in Qobuz and Tidal, but only two albums in my library (by clicking Discography).
However, if I search for Mozart in artists instead of composer, I get over 80 albums in My Library.
If I select those 80 albums and edit the artists by adding Mozart, they will all show up in Discography,
Somehow, the composer is recognized in some searches and lost in others. For instance if I search for Mozart, the “My Library” collection under his picture is correct with over 80 results. But if I click “Discography” and the “My Library” icon, I get two albums - both had “Mozart” as an artist.
I think Discography is looking for the composer in artists and in the case of Tidal/Qobuz, it’s there, but in the case of my library, it is somewhere (maybe under “Composer” ) and is sometimes found and sometimes not.
This doesn’t happen for conductors, for example. Just composers.
