Hello @Timothy_Walczyk and welcome to the forum.

There is nothing to setup on your McIntoosh - it is just a simple endpoint to play music to in a Roon ecosystem. What you need to have and setup is a Roon Server though. See also:

Hello @Timothy_Walczyk

Thanks for reaching out to us with this question.

We were able to review the diagnostics report from your machine. We noticed a few errors indicating a network issue, which is crucial for Roon Server to function properly:

Error in web request https://accounts5.roonlabs.com/accounts/3/machineallocate (530): error code: 1016

We recommend trying the following steps.

  1. Enable local network access for Roon Server on your Mac. You can usually find this by going to your Mac's System Settings, selecting Privacy & Security, and then Local Network. Please ensure the toggle for Roon Server is turned on.
  2. Temporarily disable the anti-malware protection on your router. You will need to log into your router's administration interface and look for any security, firewall, or advanced protection settings to turn off temporarily. This will help us determine if the router is actively blocking the connection.
  3. Set your router's DNS to Google or Cloudflare. In your router's network or WAN settings, please change the primary and secondary DNS servers to Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1). This often resolves underlying routing and connectivity problems.
Please let us know if these steps help resolve the issue.

Thanks.
