Digione silent after upgrade of Rock to

@support Since the last update to Rock a few days ago my Digione doesn’t output sound. It is running on a Ropieee system V095. Everything shows as playing in Roon and on the Screen attached to the Pi running Ropiee, where the digione hat is also installed, but no sound out of the amp. I have checked all physical connections, rebooted everything etc.

You don’t have the volume down on the Roon remote interface do you? Can you maybe post a screen shot of the main window and the audio path too?

Volume is fixed and controlled by integrated amp.

Ok so Ropieee is in the mix too…might be worth tagging @spockfish Harry too

Hello @Tony_Reimann,

Is your integrated amplifier showing that it is receiving signal from the Digi One? Does the integrated amplifier show what the incoming sample rate is? If so, try playing back media with a different sample rate and seeing if your integrated amplifier is registering those changes. If you don’t have any media with a different sample rate, you can use Roon’s DSP Engine with sample rate conversion to upsample your content to something like 96 kHz. This should help us diagnose where in your system the issue is occurring.

No the amp doesn’t have any indicators to show whether or not a signal is being recieved. It doesn’t matter what the sampling rate the behaviour is the same. It has been working fine for many many months till now. i will flash another card with Dietpi and see if it makes a difference.

OK flashed using Dietpi instead of Ropieee and it plays fine. Rebooted using the Ropieee card and it works fine. Have no idea what the issue was but all is good now.
