Description of Issue

I have been successfully using Roon for a number of years with a Raspberry Pi and Core running on a Synology NAS.

I have a combined Zone of Sonos Speakers, Airplay speakers mounted in the ceiling and a Blue Sound Pulse Flex 2I. When playing these combined Zones, the speakers get out of sync streaming audio on Roon after about 20 minutes. A simple pause and immediate resume, syncs everything back up again.

Any thoughts on what to try to avoid thuis issue of having to stop and start?

It is my understanding that you shouldn’t mix zones that use different protocols. For instance, Raspberry Pi devices and Bluesound use RAAT, so may be grouped. However, Airplay and Sonos should only be grouped with like zones.
