I want to switch my roon core and remote machines. I currently have roon core on a mac mini but want to switch it to a windows 10 pro. I see instructions, but I also see contradictions.
To further confuse the issue, I once had the core on the windows machine and had the mac mini as an endpoint. When I switched them around, I lost all my playlists and had to reconstruct some things.
I want to start fresh ( and back to my original setup). I am hoping a new attempt will be more successful.
I need a better picture regarding whether there is any deactivation or uninstallation anywhere in the process, and when to use the backup to restore playlists, etc. Thank you in advance for any help given!
