Discover on ROON 2 does not work
It’s searching forever, never stops

Do you mean the Discover function on the Home page of Roon? when you click on it you just get a blank page with the Roon icon in the centre?

Can you give more details on your networking gear and setup? Thanks.

I’m also seeing Roon failing to load albums from Qobuz/Tidal if they are not already in my library. Maybe this is what U-M means. Often seems to happen at the weekend.


And restarting Roon makes no difference.

I have the same issue with Discover

Yes, on the Homescreen. The roon logo turns forever…

Ben here with the support team following up on this thread. Are you still having issues accessing your discover in Roon?

If so, let’s start with refreshing your database.

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
