In my library is filled with about 12000 tracks, both form local and tidal. when i play the library via shuffle or from the beginning i have two problems: the first one is, that on the beginning of the playlist theres a note "3000 skipped items". I can open the skipped items and play them also but here comes number two: the complete "tracks remaining", the skipped items included are only about 8000. Where are the other 4000? When i look at the settings "skipped items", there is no item listed ...
It looks like you had 3000 files queued to play then added 5003 files with play or shuffle. That caused the files already queued up to be skipped. If you want to add something to the queue while tracks/files are queued to play then used the Queue function in the play action list to add new stuf to the bottom of the queue. I have no idea on the count.

Thanks for writing in to ask us about this issue. @Mike_LC makes a good point about clicking play or shuffle versus adding tracks to your queue. Tell us whether the skipped items still happen if you use queue.
Under general settings there is an option called “Show hidden tracks and items”. Please make sure that option is toggled on.
