I am using an old iPad w iPadOS 18.3.2 (ver 2.70 build 1673) as remote and a Rock server running ver 2.70 build 1671 (latest version). I subscribe to Tidal.
I direct connected my cable Wi-Fi router to my KEF LS60 system. Occasionally, when I start a music selection, the audio is distorted. Is the distortion being allowed by the new direct LAN connection?
I had never encountered this before. I ran the LAN cable direct because sometimes my LS60s would lose connection with my router. Roon would determine the streaming data was not of sufficient quality, and would attempt to play the next selection, but never was the audio distorted.
The distorted audio does not persist; seems to clear up later. Not sure if it is a reboot that fixes the issue. Once I deleted the album and downloaded it again.
Otherwise, roon rocks!
