Describe the issue

Ever since the last update (the one with smart playlists) I've noticed distortion and occasional skips while playing music. This happens mostly with local files I think.

Describe your network setup

I have a mac mini running Roon Server and a mac laptop running Roon for playback. Both are on the same wifi network within my home.

Confirmed this is an issue only on macOS. iPhone Roon Arc plays same content from same Roon server on same network without issue.

Hey @Griffin_Caprio,

Thanks for taking the time to write in!

As a simple next step, see if you can reproduce the issue with a direct, hardwire ethernet connection from your Roon Server machine (the mac mini) to your primary router, and let me know if you’re able to reproduce the issue.

It may be worth giving your router a reboot around this time as well. Let me know how it goes! :raised_hands:
