sorry, i’ve changed a lot over the past days, Win10 1709 -> 1803, Roon 1.4 -> 1.5 etc.
today i noticed heavy distortions playing Tidal MQA “trough” Dirac-Live!
even mouse movements produce “ugly noise”.
if i disable Dirac it’s getting better, “normal” (CD-quality) titles are “less sensitive” but there are noticeable dropouts as well.
i double checked with the native Tidal App (same conditions, WASAPI exclusive to Dirac) and there are definitely no problems at all!
so on one hand it’s a kind of Dirac problem on the other hand there a no problems using Dirac with Tidal or Kodi.
the levels are fine, Dirac doesn’t show any clipping.
i’m listening without Dirac now and haven’t noticed any obvious distortions, yet, but maybe they are just not “strong enough”?!?
any other people using Dirac Live (software) “behind” Roon?
