Does Roon connects wirelessly to Pulse 2i and plays MQA?

Using MacBook Pro 16 with Roon installed

Trying to find out of MQAs from Tidal can be played with Roon wirelessly and the expected sound quality will ve delivered properly. I am planning on buying Pulsi 2i and use it with Roon.

Welcome to the forum! We suggest using an Ethernet connection for your Pulse 2i, there have been a few reports of issues when streaming via WiFi with Bluesound 2i gear and we’re working with BluOS support to investigate this further at this time.

Thanks for the tip! I would have another question. When playing Tidal with Roon to connect directly to Pulse 2i, will I get the 3rd unfold or I need to anything else? I know is not really Roon question, but I am verry new in this and I was wondering if I can treat this setup as a “proper” one or I need anything in addition?

the 3rd unfold

There is only a decode step which unfolds to 88.1 or. 96. The second step is a render step which applies a filter and maybe upsampling. No third step.
